1. Machine Embroidery

It is the work of embroidering Turkish-Ottoman Motifs and hand motifs in accordance with the original or machine embroidering by using the original motifs. As well as requiring manual skills as in the manual embroidery, machine use is also quiet important at this branch. Considering the applied technics, the applying of the adjustments of the shuttle, pointer and inferior-superior thread are very important.
The basic subjects that are intended for instructing the branch can be ranged as introduction of the machine, preparing of the sample cloth, wall lamp, China pointer, Turkish embroidery, white embroidery, Maraş embroidery and Antep embroidery. The materials on which the embroidery is applied are mostly the materials as leather, cloth, linen, broadcloth. The aim is the providing the reflection in integrity of the instructed technics to the work.

2. Manual Embroidery

It is an important handicraft in point of the protection and the feature of Turkish culture and art. They are the motifs applied with the threads made by the various materials (like wool, linen, nylon or metal) on the fabric, using a pointer and workbench. The basic subjects that are intended to be instructed are; general informations, preparing of the sample cloth, Turkish embroidery, tel kırma and Antep embroidery. It is aimed to be exposed of the appropriate works for the learned technics and features.
As well as the applied technics, the different motifs and embroidery facts can be put forth with the imagination of the person.

3. Clothing

The clothing is a branch that emerged from the main necessities arised for the purpose of protecting from the nature effects for the people and that has developed later. It is a branch that reflects the cultural features, custom and usage, tradition that the people owns and that becomes industrialized with the same time.
The main subject titles can be ranged as; the information about the fabrics, taking measurements technics, modeling technics, cutting technics, fitting exercises and application on the cloth on which it is working.

4. Fabrics

It is the work of sewing after designing and preparing according to the technical features of the home textile products. It can be described as the products exposed using cloth, home textile materials and accessories.
Especially, it is one of the branches that is prefered during the dower preparations. The general product titles belonged to this branch can be ranged as; the quilting suits, saddlebag suits, bath suits, decorative products, baby suits, counterpane (bedclothes) suits.

5. Patchwork

It is the work of recovering the residual materials (fabric, lacework patches, cover and so on) by combining them, that has developed in the direction of the saving tradition coming from the past. It is the branch that consists of the decorative products as quilt face, cloth, pillowcase. The applying methods are hexagon, wind rose, court stair, snowball, basket, double wedding ring. At the same time, the products that are composed by combining the geometrical shapes are also available.

6. Silver Thread

The silver thread embroidering is an embroidery art peculiar to Kahramanmaraş. It is a handworking applied especially on the velvet dresses, pillows, counterpanes, prayer rugs, bundles, table clothes. The fabrics like satin, velvet, chiffon, organza are used and the silvery threads like gold and silver, the silk or linen threads are used.
The applying technics can be ranged as; the preparation of the figure paper, preparation of the graphone paper, backstitching, figure carving, preparing a embroidery, pressing in the workbench, wrapping with the silver or gilt thread, preparing a relief cardboard, making a pesent pointer of the Maraş embroidery, making a bias pesent pointer, making a mat pointer.

7. Wooden Painting

It is the work of painting the wooden or ceramic material with the decorative features by aid of the special tints and chemical materials. The applying methods during composing the products used for the home decoration and adornment can be ranged as; ducutage exercise, relief with the adhesive, texture excercises (like paper texture, sponge texture), aging method with the candle, foil exercises, leaf, pearl exercises, cheesecloth exercise, cracking style.

8. Point Lace

9. Painting

The applying methods belonging to the painting branch can be ranged as; learning the painting principles, composing design, preparing figure, copying, making smaller, enlargement and painting technics.

10. Painting

The illumination art that means goldening is an adornment art of the manuscript pieces that is made with the golden gilt and tint on the sultan’s monogram by the beautiful tail plate (hüsn-i hat) and albums. The main materials are golden and tint. It is the making to the thickened condition of the golden leaf by crushing in the water and by mixing with the gelatine. 11. Ceramics

12. Domestic - Economic Meal

The domestic economic is a discipline that struggles for making more economic, more modern and more regular of the life styles at home life of the people. The aim is; instructing the family and individuals related to the negative daily life conditions that will excite to the social, economic and political problems.
The main subject titles are alimentation, the long-lived keeping and protection of the nutritions.

13. Marbling

In a sample description, it is a paper adornment art that means water and cloud and that is derived from the word of "ebr" in Persian. It is the whole of motifs that consist of by emerging of the colors on the intensified liquid by creating unlimited alterations. The main learning steps can be ranged as; regulating the tint quantity and measures in the water density, regulating the gall-gum tragacanth, color harmony and contrast data, application of the marbling on the paper, description of the marbling types and application technics.
The marbling types are; oversize marbling, tide marbling, scarf marbling, porphyry marbling, splayed marbling, flowered marbling, orator marbling, sandy marbling, written marbling and marbling with naphtha.

14. Mosaic

It can be described as an artistic design branch. This method is applied at indoor and outdoor or on the floor. The application of the branch is briefly; the motif or figure that will be applied is drawed on the paper, a platform is prepared. The stones and colors that will be applied are determined and they are applied on the prepared platform. For the purpose of giving an antique appearance, its back and edges are covered by the grout.
It is an art branch that present variation that can be applied on the products, prepared by using this technic, decorative materials, glass or wooden.

15. Accessory Design

It is an handicraft branch that is consisted of the ornamental objects, accessory or decorative products using stone, bead or different materials.
The methods of the branch can be ranged as; design data and description of the design technics and their application.

16. Doll

It is a branch of painting and can be described as a three dimensional cartoon exercise. At the same time, it is a introductory art branch that shows various typecastings and regional features. The materials used are sea stones and cold ceramic. Especially the baby clothes are made by the cold ceramic. The paintings and adornments are made using acrylic water based tints and the various sequins, beads are used for the cloth adornments.

17. Calligraphy

It has formed and developed by emerging of the Islamic culture and can be described as a writing art. Its general subject is writing and creating its decorative usage aim. The subject titles of this branch can be ranged as; evolution of the calligraphy, types of calligraphy and its application.

18. Fabric Painting

It is the work of reflecting formally of the motifs, objects and natural assets on the fabric by aid of the tint. The general application technics can be ranged as; wall lamp, white embroidery, ceramics design technic, China pointer, Maraş embroidery, Turkish embroidery.

19. Silk Painting

It is the art of making a watercolor on the silk. It can be applied on every kind of material other than silk.Its main application technics are; watercolor technic, painting by the pen with felt point, acuanel, antifuzan technic, candle, spraying, gutta technic, alcohol technic, souse technic, folding technic, reverse batik.

20. Rug

It is a kind of thin carpet. The carpet is composed by applying straight textile technics without using nap thread. On the horizontal or vertical workbench, the motifs are composed by passing vertical threads between the vertical threads denominated warp. Because the carpet is composed on the horizontal and vertical planes, the motifs are weaved geometrically or lined.
The threads made by sheep wool or cotton are painted by the natural tints. The motifs are entitled differently because of the motifs that the weaver has added to the composition with its weaving style and technic.

21. Miniature

It is a fine embroidered, small dimensional art branch. The miniature that is embroidered on the paper, ivory or on a similar material, is one of the traditional Turkish handicraft branches that comes from the Ottoman time.

22. Heading

The relief that means relievo, is an art between the two dimensional picture and three dimensional sculpture. It is separated as low and high relief. It is applied on the materials as ceramic, polyester, aluminum, copper plate.

23. Knitting Needle Lacework

It is a lace art by knitting with thread and knitting needle. The model that is required to be composed according to the thread feature and knitting needle thickness, is divided for three or four knitting needles according to its model.
The feature of the knitting needle lacework is that presenting a diversity of the composed code on every motif. Before the application begins, code solution technic is learned.

24. Knitting

It can be described as a knitting texture produced in the knitwear, knitting or warped knitting machines. In other words, knitting is a surface that is composed by the thread and composed in consequence of passing inside of each curvilinear plaits denominated knot arranging horizontal and vertical direction.
The knitting means knit knitted with various threads and different models in the machine. It is used for composing the raw materials of the outer clothing, knit, figured texture and home textile products.

25. Quilting

It is a work of sewing at hand, by giving various figures, of the quilt that is composed by the natural and healthy materials and that is obtained by putting materials as wool, cotton inside the texture. The products that are produced with this technic are used as a dower material or home textile product.
