CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF AŞTİ BY ROBOTS

MODERN TECHNOLOGY IS EXPLOITED IN CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WORKS OF AŞTİ, HEART OF TURKEY IN COLLECTIVE TRANSPORTATION NETWORK. TWO MAN-LIFTS NAMELY “SPIDER” AND “SCISSOR” ARE USED FOR WORKS SUCH AS REPLACEMENT OF LIGHT FIXTURES, RENOVATION, POSTING BANNERS AT AŞTİ HAVING CEILINGS AS HIGH AS 16 METERS

 

temizlik_asti.jpg Cleaning and maintenance works are performed using modern technology equipment at AŞTİ, the entrance gate of capital city, hosting hundred thousands of people everyday. 
Metropolitan Municipality is working to welcome its local and foreign guests at a modern, clean and huge facility, and performing cleaning, maintenance and repair works using high technology man-lifts. Cleaning and maintenance personnel boarding on man-lifts used at AŞTİ for the first time in Turkey are operated by specialized personnel of AŞTİ are easy accessing to 16 meters high AŞTİ ceilings.

-“SPIDER” BECOMES THE FOCUS OF PASSENGERS’ ATTENTION 
Man-lift with BOOM called as “SPIDER” by AŞTİ employees is able to reach up to 21 meters. Remotely operated lift is used as the essential assistant of the staff for duties such as window cleaning, painting, replacement of light fixtures, banner posting and ceiling repairs. 
BOOM man-lift used at AŞTİ for the first time in Turkey among other bust stations is also attracting passengers and children’s attention at AŞTİ. 
BOOM man-lift able to travel at “Rabbit” and “Turtle” speeds operate without harming surrounding environment by its multifunctional structure that fits AŞTİ’s ceiling height.

-“SCISSOR ” LIFT
Another lift assisting AŞTİ staff in cleaning and maintenance works is referred as “Scissor” lift. “Scissor lift” is able to access areas where “Spider” is unable to reach, and can go as high as 10 meters. 
Just like “Spider”, “Scissor lift” operated by onboard control panel is able to travel at “Rabbit” and “Turtle” speeds. 
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality paying great care to hygiene and care of AŞTİ, one of the entrance Gates of Turkey’s capital city where hundred thousand of people enter and leave each day, and making no compromise on cleanliness with its hundreds of cleaning and maintenance personnel for 24 hours. In addition to cleaning and maintenance works, high level of security services are also provided at AŞTİ, and sets a “model” for stations in Turkey with its rail system network.
