A BRILLIANT GALA FOR THE ASHGABAT DAYS IN ANKARA

PRESIDENT ABDULLAH GUL ATTENDED THE GALA NIGHT ORGANIZED AS A PART OF ASHGABAT DAYS

-PRESIDENT GUL WATCHED THE TURKMENISTAN STATE CIRCUS ARTISTS’S SHOW ORGANIZED IN ASKI SPORT HALL WITH ANKARA METROPOLITAN MAYOR MELIH GOKCEK AND ASHGABAT GOVERNOR RECEPGELDI NURMAMEDOV

-MAYOR GOKCEK: “IN THE NAME OF THE PEOPLE OF ANKARA I WANT TO SAY WELCOME TO YOUR SECOND HOME, ANKARA TO THE DESCENDANTS OF SULTAN ALPASLAN FROM FATHERLAND”

- NURMAMMEDOV: “I BROUGHT OUR PEOPLE’S AND PRESIDENT’S SALUTES TO YOU ALL”

  

baskanlar-gosteri-izledi-330.jpg President Abdullah Gul watched the Turkmenistan State Circus and Developing Community’s show exhibited with Ahal Teke horses as a part of “Ashgabat Days In Ankara.”

   Beside the President Abdullah Gul, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Melih Gokcek, his wife Nevin Gokcek, Ashgabat Governor Recepgeldi Nurmammedov, Ankara Ambassador of Turkmenistan Ata Serdarov, congressmen, Turkmenistanians living in Ankara and thousands of Ankara inhabitants also participated in the “Ashgabat Days In Ankara” events’s Gala hosted by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.

 

           In the Gala program which was made in the ASKI Sport Hall Mayor Gokcek gave a speech before the shows, Gokcek pointing out that welcoming the guests from Turkmenistan personally and in the name of the people of Ankara said “I welcome you to the opening gala of Ashgabat Days in Ankara and submitting my most sincere salutes and regards. In the name of the people of Ankara I want to say Welcome to your second home, Ankara to the descendants of Sultan Alpaslan from fatherland

 

            Mayor Gokcek also stating that he is happy to be the host for what he believes the Ashgabat Days will be a new milestone on the relations between Turkey and Turkmenistan that have been always one nation two governments all the time and went on his words as:

         “I’m feeling the right happiness of hosting my dear brother Mr. Nurmammedov and his committee of artists and bureucrats in Ankara. With the sense of responsibility the long-time friendship between our countries and people, we declare our capitals Ankara and Ashgabat sister cities and thus providing cooporation and experience exchange on all the issues related to municipality management and strengthening the cultural and friendship bonds between two public by correspondantly organizing cultural days”
 

-“WE OPENED A TURKMENISTAN PARK IN ANKARA”

On February 2012, with thier precious participations Turkmenistan President Dear Gurbanguli Berdimuhammedov and Dear President Abdullah Gul, we have opened The Turkmanistan Park and Mahdum Kulu Firaki’s statue in Ankara” continued Mayor Gokcek and said This year we are organizing again Ashgabat Days in our capital and developing artisitic, cultural and information exchange between us. Hopefully, next year we will organize Ankara Days in Ashgabat and bring the cultural and artisitic richnesses of Anatolia before our Turkmen brothers

         “I submit my most sincere thanks to Dear Abdullah Gul for his valuable contributions on Turkmenistan-Turkey relations and especially Ankara-Ashgabat relations”  said Mayor Gokcek and ended his speech by saying:I also offer my thanks to my colleague Recepgeldi Nurmammedov, artists, those who contributed on the organization and to all the people of Ashgabat for bringing the Developing Community who rightfully deserve its’ metaphor of “Dance of the Horses and Acrobats” worthily to the Ankara-Ashgabat brotherhood. Thanks again all for not leaving us alone  in this cold Ankara evening
 

-“I BROUGHT OUR PEOPLE’S AND PRESIDENT’S SALUTES TO YOU ALL” 

        Ashgabat Governor Recepgeldi Nurmammedov also offered his thanks to Mayor Gokcek for the “Ashgabat Days” in Ankara in his speech and said I brought our people’s and president’s salutes to you all. They thank you all for organizing such an event

 

-AHAL TEKE HORSE SHOW WAS BREATHTAKING

        After the speeches, The Gala program of Ashgabat Days started with the show of multi award winner around the globe Ahal Teke Horses. The acrobat riders came into scene on horseback with Turkmenistan and Turkish flags in their hands, saluted the audience and returned with great applause. Exhibitioning their shows in front of the carefull looks of the President and other guests, Ahal Teke Horses charmed everyone with their brilliant performances.

      Rider acrobats consisted of women and men have carried out esthetical moves on horse backs, one more dangerous than other, with great skill and harmony and got all marks from the metropolitan inhabitants. Especially the show performed by a twelve year old little acrobat with his horse was watched by inhabitants in excitement and admiration.

       Also the ethnic dances of the Turkmenistan girls accompanying the horserider’s shows have gained lots of interest too. After the dances, Metropolitans have watched the brilliant show of the rubber girl astoundedly and the ropewalker’s moves that he did meters above the ground without any safety measures, waved a wind of excitement in the Hall.

  “Ashgabat Days In Ankara”, that was hosted by the Metropolitan Municipality for 3 days as a part of the sister city relations to allow for the economic relations between the countries to be developed and friendship and brotherhood bridges to be build, gained a great interest from the Ankara inhabitants.
