The first stage of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Dikmen Canyon Urban Transformation Project is completed in the year 2000. By courtesy of this project, the shanty house area of Dikmen canyon which was not suitable with the modern country structure, has been provided to be converted to a modern and planned urban transformation.
2264 houses, 68 stores, 1 conference and exhibition hall, 2 swimming pools, 2 sports centers, 2 beauty saloons, 11.2 ha green area, 1.8 ha watching pool, 3 km road are constructed.
